DMCA & COPYRIGHT POLICY

Last updated August 17, 2026

SaveFromInsta respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This policy explains how a copyright owner can request the removal of allegedly infringing material, how an affected party can respond, and how we handle repeat infringement. It supplements Sections 4 and 5 of our Terms of Use.

1. HOW OUR SERVICE WORKS

SaveFromInsta is a passthrough tool. We do not host, store, cache, or archive any Instagram media. When you request a download, the media is retrieved from Instagram’s public Content Delivery Network (CDN) at that moment and passed to you as a transient stream; once delivered, we keep no copy.

Because we store nothing, there is generally no file “on our servers” to delete — the content resides on Instagram. If you believe content should not be publicly accessible, the most direct remedies are usually to report it to Instagram or to set the source account to private. Nonetheless, we take copyright seriously and will act on valid notices as described below, including by blocking specific links or accounts from being processed by our tools where appropriate.

2. FILING A DMCA TAKEDOWN NOTICE

If you are a copyright owner, or are authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that material accessible through our website infringes your copyright, you may send a written notice to our designated copyright contact at:

Email: dmca@save-from-insta.com

To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include all of the following:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works, a representative list).
  • Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it — for our service, the exact Instagram URL(s) or account(s) at issue.
  • Your contact information: full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

We aim to review complete notices promptly. Incomplete notices may not be actionable.

3. COUNTER-NOTIFICATION

If you believe that material of yours was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification to dmca@save-from-insta.com. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g), your counter-notice must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location at which it appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your full name, mailing address, and telephone number.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice or their agent.

4. REPEAT INFRINGERS

In appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, we will disable or terminate access to the Services for users who are the subject of repeated valid infringement notices, and we may block specific Instagram links or accounts from being processed by our tools.

5. MISREPRESENTATIONS

Please be aware that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees. Submit notices and counter-notices in good faith.
