This Privacy Notice for SaveFromInsta ("we," "us," or "our"), describes how and why we might access, collect, store, use, and/or share ("process") your personal information when you use our services ("Services"), including when you:

  • Visit our website at https://save-from-insta.com/, or any website of ours that links to this Privacy Notice
  • Engage with us in other related ways, including any sales, marketing, or events

Questions or concerns? Reading this Privacy Notice will help you understand your privacy rights and choices. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Services. If you still have any questions or concerns, please contact us at info@save-from-insta.com.

SUMMARY OF KEY POINTS

What personal information do we process? When you visit, use, or navigate our Services, we may process personal information depending on how you interact with us and the Services, the choices you make, and the products and features you use.

Do we process any sensitive personal information? We do not process sensitive personal information.

Do we collect any information from third parties? We do not collect any information from third parties.

How do we process your information? We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, for security and to prevent abuse, for analytics and (where applicable) advertising with your consent, and to comply with law.

What are your choices? Where consent is required (for example in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland) we show a consent banner before loading analytics or advertising, we honour the Global Privacy Control signal, and we do not store any of the media you download.

How do we keep your information safe? We have adequate organizational and technical processes and procedures in place to protect your personal information.

1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us.

Sensitive Information. We do not process sensitive information.

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, approximate location, information about how and when you use our Services, and other technical information.

The link or username you submit. To fetch the public Instagram content you ask for, we transmit the link or username you enter to a third-party content-retrieval service, which returns the location of the media. That media is then streamed to you through our servers and is not stored by us — we keep no library, index, or copy of it. We do not retain the links you submit for successful downloads; if a request fails, we may keep a minimal content identifier (such as a post shortcode) to diagnose the problem, never the media itself.

2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. We may also process your information for other purposes with your consent.

3. COOKIES, ANALYTICS, ADVERTISING & YOUR CHOICES

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and local storage) for security, to remember your preferences, to understand how the Services are used, and — where applicable — to show advertising. You can control non-essential cookies as described below.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and Microsoft Clarity for product analytics. Clarity records behavioural interaction data — such as clicks, scrolls, and how pages render — to help us improve usability; it is configured to mask text and input fields, so the specific content you type (including the links you paste) is not recorded. Microsoft processes this data as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement, and Google as described in the Google Privacy Policy. We do not load Clarity for visitors in the US Pacific region.

Advertising. We may display advertising through Google AdSense, which may use cookies and device identifiers to serve and measure ads. Learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Consent and your choices. We use Google Consent Mode together with Google's certified consent platform (Funding Choices). If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you are shown a consent banner and analytics/advertising cookies are not set until you agree. If you are in a US state with applicable privacy laws (including California), you are shown a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” choice. We also honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal automatically: when your browser sends it, we treat it as an opt-out and do not load non-essential analytics or advertising.

Bot protection. To keep this free Service available and to stop automated abuse, download requests are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile runs a background check that may process your IP address, browser and device characteristics, and interaction signals to tell humans from bots, and may store a short-lived token. This processing is strictly necessary for security and is carried out by Cloudflare as described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS

We rely on a small number of processors to run the Services. They handle data only to provide their function to us, and may process it in the United States and other countries:

  • Vercel — hosting and content delivery; generates standard server logs (IP address, request metadata) for security and operation.
  • A third-party content-retrieval API — receives the link or username you submit in order to return the location of the public Instagram media you requested.
  • Cloudflare — bot protection (Turnstile), as described above.
  • Google — Analytics, advertising (AdSense), and the consent platform.
  • Microsoft — Clarity product analytics.
  • Sentry — error monitoring. When something fails, Sentry records technical diagnostics such as your browser, operating system, and the error details. We have configured Sentry not to store IP addresses and to strip the specific link you looked up from these reports.

If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, using the Services involves transferring your information to countries (including the United States) that may not provide the same level of data protection; where required, this is done under appropriate safeguards.

Links to other websites. Our Services may contain links to third-party websites, including Instagram and the sites of advertisers, that are not operated by us. We are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of those websites, and this Privacy Notice does not apply to them. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

5. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

The link or username you submit and the media we fetch for you are processed only transiently to fulfil your request; they are not written to persistent storage and, apart from the minimal diagnostic identifier described in Section 1, are not retained afterwards.

For other information, we will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

6. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

7. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?

We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to children under 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). By using the Services, you represent that you are at least that age, or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to their use of the Services. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the applicable age, we will delete it.

8. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information — including the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of it, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

EEA, UK & Switzerland (GDPR). Our legal bases for processing are: your consent for analytics and advertising (which you can withdraw at any time via the consent banner); our legitimate interests in keeping the Services secure, functional, and free from abuse (including bot protection and error monitoring); and compliance with law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California and other US states. You have the right to know what personal information we process, to request deletion, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your personal information for money. You can exercise your opt-out through the “Do Not Sell or Share” choice shown to you, or by enabling Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser, which we honour automatically.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@save-from-insta.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

9. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK & GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL

Because there is still no finalized standard for the older “Do-Not-Track” (DNT) browser signal, we do not respond to DNT. We do, however, honour the newer Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: when your browser or a browser extension sends GPC, we treat it as an opt-out and do not load non-essential analytics or advertising for your session.

10. HOW CAN YOU CONTACT US ABOUT THIS NOTICE?

If you have questions or comments about this notice, you may email us at info@save-from-insta.com.

11. HOW CAN YOU REVIEW, UPDATE, OR DELETE THE DATA WE COLLECT FROM YOU?

Based on the applicable laws of your country, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we collect from you, change that information, or delete it. To request to review, update, or delete your personal information, please submit a request to info@save-from-insta.com.
